Devoted Ken Myers, a self-confessed romantic, began his unique way of saying 'I love you' back in 1979, six years after he married his sweetheart, Valerie. The 77-year-old novelist has managed to save a few pounds over the years by writing a new cryptic message on the inside of the card, which is now full of scribblings from the past three decades. And Ken, of Leeds, West Yorks., even created the romantic card himself – he used to work as a card designer back in the 1970s.
